About The Role
The successful candidate will work with research psychologists, clinical and academic staff, helping with remote recruitment and assessments of paediatric samples at the Department of Early Life Imaging & Health and Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The primary role is to recruit and arrange the online assessments with parents of children aged between 5 and 12 years who have previously taken part in longitudinal studies at King’s College London. This role also involves scoring assessments, entering data into electronic databases, data analysis and writing research papers.
This is a full-time post and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 18/12/2026 in the first instance.
About The Role
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- A first degree or equivalent
- Experience of working with children and their families in research, clinical or other settings.
- Knowledge of research methods and statistical procedures.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proactive, motivated and enthusiastic, bringing novel ideas to group discussions and demonstrating a desire to go beyond comfort zones.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of different computer programs (SPSS, R, Python, etc.) and some experience in quantitative data analysis.
- Ability to interact appropriately with colleagues and research participants in a patient, diplomatic, professional manner.
Desirable criteria
- Practical experience of working in a research and academic environment.
- Experience working in the NHS.
- Experience of presenting results to large audiences.
- Previous publication of research articles.
- Some experience in analyzing quantitative data.

Grade and Salary: £39,076 - £43,909 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
