The Regional Institute of Oncology Iasi organizes a competition for filling vacant positions outside the organizational structure within the project "High-Power Laser Medical Applications – Dr. LASER", SMIS code 326475, Financing Contract no. 18989/20.02.2025, for the following position:
Position title: RESEARCH ASSISTANT – PHD STUDENT IN VETERINARY MEDICINE

Eligibility criteria
a) holds Romanian citizenship or the citizenship of another Member State of the European Union, a State Party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), or Swiss Confederation citizenship;
b) knows the Romanian / English language, both written and spoken;
c) meets the minimum age regulated by the applicable legal provisions;
d) has full legal capacity;
e) has a state of health appropriate for the position, certified by a medical certificate issued by the family doctor or by authorized healthcare units;
f) meets the education requirements and, where applicable, the seniority or other specific requirements according to the position requirements;
g) has not been finally convicted of an offence against humanity, the state or public authority, an offence committed in connection with or in the exercise of duties, an offence obstructing the administration of justice, forgery, corruption, or an intentional offence that would make the person incompatible with holding the position, except where rehabilitation has occurred.

Candidate files must contain
a) application for registration in the competition (standard form attached to the recruitment and selection announcement), indicating the position applied for;
b) signed and dated curriculum vitae on each page, in Europass format, indicating the project and position targeted by the candidate;
c) list of scientific publications, papers, articles/studies and patents selected by the candidate according to their relevance to the candidate's own scientific research activities;
d) copies of educational documents (bachelor's degree or equivalent/master's/doctorate degree, as applicable);
e) copy of identity document or any other document certifying identity, according to the law, as applicable;
f) copy of marriage certificate or proof of name change, as applicable;
g) medical certificate attesting to the state of health appropriate for performing the job duties, issued by the candidate's family doctor or authorized healthcare units, no more than 3 months prior to the competition;
h) signed consent declaration for the processing of personal data;
i) criminal record certificate.
All copies shall be certified by comparing them with the originals of the documents by the secretary of the committee.
Failure to submit the required documents, discrepancies between the information in the file and the documents requested from candidates, submission of documents that cannot be certified, submission at an address other than the one indicated in the announcement, or submission after the stated deadline shall automatically result in exclusion/rejection of the candidate's file.

The competition file shall be submitted by the date indicated in the recruitment and selection procedure schedule, at the Human Resources Department of the Regional Institute of Oncology Iasi, 2–4 G-ral Henri Mathias Berthelot Street, or electronically to runos@iroiasi.ro, telephone 0374278810, extension 543, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 and 15:00.
Registration for the competition shall take place within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of the announcement, and the competition shall be finalized within 30 days from the closing date of registration.
