Project: “Personalized antibody-drug conjugates activated by matrix metalloproteinases for solid tumors”, acronym: PACMAN, Virtual Research Institute (WIB); managing entity: Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT; project leader: Marcin Poręba, PhD, DSc, Prof. of WUST. The PACMAN project aims to develop a new class of antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) that do not require internalization and are selectively activated extracellularly by matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-2, MMP-9, MMP-14) in the solid tumor microenvironment.

Position description: The person employed in this position will be responsible for collecting, integrating, cleaning, and performing exploratory analysis of biomedical data from various sources, including clinical, histopathological, and RNA-seq data. The role will also involve applying multivariate analysis, anomaly detection, and clustering methods, including PCA and DBSCAN, as well as supporting the design, development, and maintenance of databases and the development of data normalization and standardization procedures for further analyses.

Specific Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
- Enrolment in the Doctoral School
- Programming and data analysis skills in Python and/or R
- Knowledge of basic biostatistical methods, as well as dimensionality reduction and clustering techniques.
- Complying with the non-competition policy following the WIB Programme guidelines.
