The appointee will work in a rigorous R&D environment to develop state-of-the-art technologies in AI and IoT areas with applications in smart cities, traffic arrangement and healthcare.
The appointee will participate in design, research, development and trial processes, in order to create products and systems that can be easily extended, integrated and deployed.
Requirements
- Applicants for Research Associate / Post-doctoral Fellow should have a PhD degree in computer science, engineering or information technology with a solid background in one of the following areas: video analysis, data analytics, AioT sensing, location AI, etc.; whereas applicants for Research Assistant should have a bachelor's degree in the above disciplines.
- Solid experience in web programming and mobile programming (C / C++ / JAVA / JavaScript / PHP / ASP.NET / Python / Linux / Visual Studio / mobile application development platforms).
- Experience in any of the below is a plus:
- a. embedded system development, scripting, cross compilation and hardware design/test;
- b. deep learning, machine learning and big data; or
- c. database, middleware and/or web application development.
- Be independent and team orientated with good technical background, as well as organization, interpersonal and communication skills.

Conditions of Service
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
