Areas of Interest We invite applications for substantiation-track faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in the following areas:Machine Creativity: Computer graphics, computer vision, robotics, etc. Machine-assisted Art Practice: Visual, sound, performing, installation, cinematic arts, etc. Critical Studies on Arts and Machine Creativity: Art history, media theory, philosophy of technology, etc. Art Management: Managerial, legal, and business topics related to AI arts, NFTs, etc.What We Offer:Competitive salary and fringe benefits, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and housing support.Opportunities for joint appointments with relevant academic departments, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration.Initial appointments at Assistant Professor/Associate Professor rank are normally on a three-year contract, with gratuity upon successful completion. Qualifications
Demonstrate a proven record of research, creative work, and/or teaching excellence in the targeted areas, especially in linking emerging technologies such as generative AI with artistic practices.Interdisciplinary collaboration is highly valued.A PhD in a relevant discipline is typically required, but candidates with distinguished professional or academic achievements may be considered without this qualification.
