Research Assistant
We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to a project funded by the Baily Thomas Charitable Fund which will investigate healthcare barriers and facilitators for adults with learning disabilities and multiple long-term health conditions in the UK. The candidate will work with Dr Kirsty Dunn, Professor Deborah Cairns, Professor Barbara Nicholl and Professor Daniel Mackay.
The candidate will have a strong background in qualitative analysis and will be conducting interviews with people with learning disabilities, their carers, and primary health care practitioners. The role will also involve contributing to the design and delivery of a Modified Delphi study with primary healthcare practitioners, as well as the presentation and writing of research publications and guidance documents for primary healthcare practitioners.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have knowledge and practical experience of working with people with learning disabilities, and candidates who have experience of designing and conducting a Delphi study.
Informal enquiries should be directed to Dr Kirsty Dunn, Kirsty.Dunn@glasgow.ac.uk
This post is part-time (28 hours per week) and has funding available until 31st December 2027.
