Offer Description
Position available within the research project entitled: “New redox and coordination chemistry with cobalamin and related systems”, project numberPN-IV-PCB-RO-MD-2024-0515.
The Research Assistant/PhD Student will carry out experimental and computational scientific research activities within the REDOXCOB project, including stopped-flow measurements and NMR and EPR spectroscopy. Duties also include preparing periodic reports, participating in project team meetings, and collaborating and communicating with the other members of the project team. The position requires responsible and correct use of laboratory equipment, compliance with the work schedule established with the project team, and meeting the deadlines set for achieving the project objectives

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Specific Requirements
- Higher education degree in Chemistry
- a Ph.D student status in Chemistry
- at least 4 years of research experience in the field of chemistry
- Rigor in scientific work
- Ability to perform stopped-flow measurements and NMR/EPR spectroscopy and ability to prepare periodic reports and collaborate within a project team
- good knowledge (reading, speaking, writing) of English and Romanian;
- Fulfillment of the standards required for the position of scientific researcher, as stipulated in the Methodology for the Competition for Filling Vacant Teaching and Research Positions at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca
