Join the Transport Studies Unit in the School of Geography and the Environment to help shape the future of youth-centric mobility research. Based mainly in London, you’ll conduct qualitative fieldwork, develop innovative methods, co-create knowledge with communities and policymakers, and produce high-impact research and publications.
You’ll steer your own academic activities, contribute to public engagement, support funding applications, take part in teaching, and engage fully in the TSU’s lively academic community. We welcome applicants completing or holding a PhD in Human Geography, Urban or Transport Planning, or related fields, with strong qualitative research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to inclusion.
