Research Associate
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for up to 2 years in the first instance.
The School of Physics & Astronomy are searching for a computational neuroscientist to contribute to the R&D of EEG and time-domain fNIRS approaches to the functional measurement of brain activity, with a specific focus on performing analysis of the data and computational modelling of neuro-circuits.
The project will be carried out with Professor Daniele Faccio at the Advanced Research Centre, a multidisciplinary research building with labs specialised in photonics, quantum technologies, bioengineering, neuroscience.
The project will bridge the disciplines of computational neuroscience, photonic sensing and AI/data analysis – the successful candidate will have experience in all of these domains.
