Job Description
Entry-level Embedded Electrical Engineering position for UAB's Engineering and Innovative Technology Development (EITD) group. Assist in the electrical design, development, manufacture, maintenance, sustainment, and operational support of embedded payload systems for space applications. Develop system-level documents and electrical drawings for complex engineering hardware and devices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
- Support meetings, teleconferences, and travel as required by projects.
- Reports to EITD Electrical Engineering Section Lead
- Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques.
- Assists more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
Salary Range:
$57,940 - $94,150
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

- Electrical/Electronics Fabrication and Assembly experience
- Electrical Engineering experience for aerospace applications
- SPICE Modeling and Analysis for embedded systems design
- Microcontroller Programming/Prototyping Experience
