About the Role
Working under the supervision and guidance of the Professor of Allied Health and Active Ageing, the Research Fellow will be responsible for undertaking health services research and will manage and implement funded research projects while developing new research activities within the Caring Futures Institute.
The incumbent will also contribute to project approvals, implementation, the management and analysis of data and the preparation of manuscripts for publication.
The role will also be responsible for:
- Contributing to the research project by collaborating with the Research Team to successfully deliver project milestones and Key Performance Indicators.
- Contributing to the execution of research by preparing applications to obtain the relevant ethics, governance and data approvals, reviewing relevant literature and other sources of information.
- Supervision of honours and post graduate research projects.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborations within the University, and at State, national and international levels in order to improve research outputs, patents and publications.

About You
You will bring substantial research experience, demonstrated through publications, presentations, and contributions to peer-reviewed journals. With a strong ability to critically review literature relevant to health services research, you will play a key role in advancing evidence-based insights.
As an excellent communicator, you will build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders and industry partners, contributing to impactful, collaborative research initiatives.
In this role you also be able to demonstrate:
- A Completion of a PhD in a health-related discipline.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research methodology.
- The ability to plan and execute data collection and analysis.
- Experience delivering project targets on time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in an academic environment.
