Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

The temporary Research Intern position works with an Infectious Disease Sciences faculty member and their team to support and learn about research in mathematical modeling and clinical trial simulation.
Responsibilities
Will perform and assist with variety of tasks as outlined below:
- Collect and analyze data
- Perform literature reviews
- Collaborate with investigators and coworkers to ensure completion of research activities
- Maintain a high level of accuracy for all work
- Work well as team-member
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled at academic institution.
- Computer experience including MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
- Excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail, high-level organization, and the flexibility to work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with coding and applied mathematics is preferred.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
