Zero to Thrive is seeking a Program Manager for research and community implementation operations. This individual will provide oversight for all research operations of Zero to Thrive which includes funding at the state, federal and foundation level.
Administrative & Staff Operations (30%)
- Provide administrative oversight and management of Zero to Thrive research operations and community implementations.
- Complete all HR processes for research organization including recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and offboarding of staff.
- Develop and administer various trainings to ensure staff compliance to research protocols and departmental regulations.
- Provide administrative and direct supervision for 3+ research staff of various titles, including conducting annual employee valuations, weekly project meetings, timekeeping management and performance planning.
Project Development & Management (30%)
- Responsible for administrative, financial, personnel and planning aspects of projects.
- Contribute to development of research design, protocols, and practices. Work with evaluation teams to determine and develop appropriate measures and instruments. Monitor ongoing data collection to ensure fidelity to protocols. Directly supervise data team members for Strong Roots operations.
- Oversee research projects and community implementations to ensure adherence to protocols and procedures. Assist with research processes as needed including IRB management, participant concerns, and departmental regulations.
- Contribute to dissemination of results through publications and presentations.
Finance (20%)
- Assist with preparing grant submissions for various funders including state, federal, and private foundations. Draft budgets for proposals.
- Manage grant budgets, which includes drafting amendment submissions, monitoring expenditures, and completing required documentation such as monthly budget reconciliations and project closeout.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports to funders.
Leadership (20%)
- Participating member of Zero to Thrive leadership team. Contribute to organizational mission and creation of annual strategic planning objectives. Work with university, community, and national partners to expand reach of Zero to Thrive programming and collaborations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology or related field
- Experience providing supervision to staff with varied roles
- 7+ years extensive experience contributing to research projects
- Demonstrated success writing grant proposals
- 5+ experience with close management of research funding
- Complex data management experience
- Experience disseminating findings at the state and national level
- Extensive experience with Michigan Medicine regulatory systems including ORSP, IRB and Tech Transfer
- Strong understanding and experience working closely on evidence-based interventions
- Experience with evaluation and strong knowledge of implementation of Strong Roots programming
