Job Description Summary
Perform RIA and ELISA assays on submitted samples. Operate and maintain clinical autoanalyzers including ordering reagent and operating supplies. Troubleshoot all assays and equipment when technical issues arise. Maintain sample logs and progress on assay runs. Analyze QC data from autoanalyzers. Label and collate assay results and send to Technical Director for approval.

Operate, maintain and run samples on clinical grade Roche autoanalyzers
Perform RIA assays for multiple hormones
Perform ELISA assays
Analyze QC data from assays and organize results to send to customer
Make reagents for assays
Maintain sample logs and assay progress
Other duties as assigned
CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- BA/BS Biology/Chemistry is preferred
- experience in hormone assays (RIA and ELISA) is preferred
- working with clinical autoanalyzers is preferred

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
