Position overview
The Residential Business and Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the University’s residential operations through data, systems, and process excellence. Working within the Residential Experience Division and partnering closely with University IT services, this role provides analytical, functional, and technical expertise to enhance the end-to-end residential experience.
The successful candidate will lead business analysis activities, system enhancement initiatives, and integration projects that underpin residential management systems such as StarRez. This includes supporting process reviews, automation opportunities, and data integrity improvements, as well as engaging with stakeholders across The Australian University's ITS, Residential Halls, and central administrative units.
We are seeking an analytical thinker with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally experienced in enterprise systems, data analysis, and service optimisation. The role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, driving digital transformation, and contributing to an inclusive, student-centred environment.
