Residential Education Director
The Residential Education Director is a full-time, 10.5 month, live-in professional appointment overseeing the management of a residence hall of 145 - 600 students. Responsibilities include supervision of paraprofessional staff, administration of special programs such as academic initiatives and theme hall programming, adjudicating student code of conduct and housing policy violations, personal counseling, programming, budget development and management, community development, crisis management and conflict resolution, committee work, and emergency on-call responsibilities.
This is a full-time (100% FTE), temporary position, overtime exempt, expected to end on May 22, 2026. Monthly compensation is $4,550.12 salary plus $250.00 on-call stipend and $1,504.00 perquisite allowance.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant residence hall leadership experience. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, complete First-Aid and CPR certification within one month, and live in the assigned residence hall.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in a related field, experience in Housing & Residence Life, supervision skills, conflict resolution, administrative skills, and ability to work with diverse populations.
