Description
Yale University is recruiting an academic clinician as an Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate/Professor of Clinical Medicine, board eligible or board certified in Rheumatology and has successfully completed a Rheumatology fellowship. Yale is seeking a compassionate rheumatologist to diagnose and treat rheumatic conditions. The rheumatologist's duties include completing the medical histories of patients, performing medical tests, and creating customized treatment plans. Experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound is desired but not essential. There are opportunities to be involved in medical students, residents and fellow education.
The schedule consists of 8 half day sessions for outpatient clinics and 2 sessions for administrative tasks. outpatient clinics. The physician will work up to 7 weeks of inpatient hospital service. Practice is well supported by Advanced Practice providers, clinical pharmacist and nursing.
Qualifications
- BC/BE in Rheumatology is required
- Candidates at Assistant or Associate Professor rank or Professor rank considered
- Applicants much be comfortable treating patients across the entire spectrum of Rheumatology
- Excellent clinician and educator
