Job Duties
Conduct research based on spectra of Dwarf galaxies selected within the Euclid deep Field north footprint
75% Write codes to visualize data, compute physical properties of galaxies, analysis and interpretation
20% Write manuscripts documenting progress
5% Read astrophysical arXiv every week to identify papers for discussion.
Other duties of a similar scope as assigned.
This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship (updated 11/20/25)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and work experience to equal at least four years
Experience in Astrophysical analysis of Euclid data
Preferred Qualifications
Python experience

Fixed Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour ($43,680 annually)
Time Appointment Category: 75%-100% Appointment
