The School of Graduate Research and Research Culture (SGRRC) sits within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) portfolio and plays a central role in supporting UOW’s research excellence. As the University’s hub for Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidature management, research integrity, ethics and compliance, the School provides end‑to‑end support across the entire HDR lifecycle—from initial inquiry through to graduation and career transition. Operating within a globally recognised, research‑intensive institution, the SGRRC ensures consistent governance, high‑quality service delivery and a strong research culture that upholds UOW’s reputation for academic rigour and integrity.
The Scholarships and Collaboration Officer supports the effective delivery of HDR scholarships and collaborative research initiatives, contributing directly to the success and progression of UOW’s research candidates. Working closely with the Scholarships and Collaboration Coordinator, the role administers scholarship rounds, monitors candidature progression, manages compliance processes and supports candidates undertaking intensive supervision. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, efficient administration and high‑quality service, the position helps foster partnerships, internship opportunities and a positive researcher experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented and proactive professional to play a meaningful role in supporting UOW’s next generation of researchers.
