Scientific Programmer
Description of Work:
As a Scientific Programmer, you will:
- Develop and extend the core computational infrastructure that underpins a multi-scale immune digital twin ecosystem and platform.
- Collaborate closely with product leadership to translate near-, mid-, and long-term roadmap requirements (3–6 months and 18 months) into clear technical specifications
- Partner with the platform engineering team to implement backend simulation capabilities that enable automated testing, validation, and benchmarking of mechanistic submodels
- Play a key role in enabling seamless integration of the core framework into a broader research and platform environment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability as the infrastructure evolves to support research, translational, and educational use cases
- Prepare text and images for manuscript and publication submissions.
- Prepare detailed documentation, user guides and training materials for the use of developed simulation tools.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics or related sciences field plus two years of scientific software development experience.
- Experience with programming in Python, Matlab, or R.
- Experience with designing scientific algorithms.
- Experience with advanced and skilled research procedures, including advanced data collection, analysis, and report writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Experience in technical scientific software development and multiscale biophysics modeling.
Posted Salary: $55,450/year minimum
