- Digital Initiatives Workflow (this posting is specifically for this role)
- Project manager is responsible for digitization lab management and overseeing the entire student hiring process (with input from student assigned supervisor), onboarding, training, progress reports, wage tracking, raises and TAS verification.
- Project Manager will work closely with the Digital Initiatives department and oversee digitization processes for primary sources, including metadata, digital collections, Special Collections digital collections (SCDC), and uploading collections into the digital content management system.
- Project Manager will oversee, accept, organize, and process donations to the department, update the necessary databases, and integrate them with the collections.
- Project Manager will work closely with the Digital Initiatives department and oversee digitization processes for primary sources, including metadata, digital collections and exhibits, and uploading collections into the digital content management system.
Required Qualifications:Required: - Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of related experience that includes research involving primary sources and/or equivalent
- Experience working in a cultural heritage organization and/or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred: - Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience processing archival, photograph and/or digital collections using best practices and standards
- Project management experience
