Target Hire Date: April 2026

Manchester University is seeking a Seasonal Mower to support grounds maintenance for the North Manchester campus and the Koinonia Environmental Center from approximately April through September. The individual in this role contributes to maintaining over 50 acres of University property through mowing, trimming, and general grounds upkeep.

What You'll Do:

• Mow, trim/weed‑eat, and maintain approximately 50 acres of grounds.
• Operate a variety of mowing and grounds equipment, including:
  • Riding zero‑turn mowers
  • Push mowers
  • Weed eaters
  • Backpack blowers
  • Tractors
• Drive both automatic pickup trucks and manual dump trucks with trailers carrying grounds equipment to/from Koinonia
• Assist the Grounds Crew on the North Manchester campus as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Ability to operate motorized lawn‑mowing equipment, including riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and tractors.
• Ability to work effectively alongside University‑aged student workers.
• Valid driver's license permitting towing a trailer with equipment.
• Ability to back a trailer safely and confidently.
• Ability to safely operate and drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions (pickup truck and dump truck).
