Position Description
Performs Academic Advising, educational, professional, or other advanced Academic Advising or training at the individual or group level as appropriate. Responsibilities may include assisting in the analysis of special and/or complex problems. May supervise Academic Advisors or other employees. Performance is based on individual advising effectiveness and overall program results obtained. Work is performed under standard supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

About the Department and/or College
Major/Essential Functions
- Maintain student records, update records as required in a timely manner. Utilize student recruitment database.
- Collaborate with TTU offices to address student needs, including but not liminted to financial aid, scholarships, foundations and admissions.
- Provide advising to students offering guidance on University and program requirements, admission, course registration, graduation, and other non-academic needs.
- Support recruitment and retention strategies that align with TTU's enrollment goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, plus one year relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work with college level students, use of social media, use of technology for communication and record keeping.
Pay Range
$17.69 - $22.98 - $28.32
