We are recruiting a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Administrator (assignment – Assessment and Progression), within the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of Humanities. This is a full time permanent role which is available from 7 August 2024.
This role forms part of the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team and will provide support to all areas of Assessment and Progression within the School. This will include liaising with academic staff, other PS function teams and students.
The successful candidate will support the administration of all required activities within the School assessment and progression team including (but not limited to): quality assurance processes, appeals and academic malpractice, extensions and late penalties, processing mitigating circumstances outcomes, preparation of exam papers (including OMR), checking and publication of student results, marking processes, responsibility for tracking documents, continuous assessment/dissertation/project procedures, exam grid checking, and processing exam board decisions.
The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience in a busy environment, excellent communication skills and work positively and respectfully with a range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You will have a flexible approach to work and the ability to work proficiently with a range of MS 365 applications. Knowledge of Campus Solutions is desirable. There is a requirement to have a proactive approach to managing your workload in this role.
