About the Role
As a Senior Application Developer, you'll design, develop, and support identity and access management solutions that enable secure access across enterprise systems. This role combines full-stack development, authentication technologies, and collaboration with technical and business partners.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain secure authentication and access control solutions
- Develop and support internal and external web applications
- Implement and support SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect integrations
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
- Support identity lifecycle management and data synchronization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into secure solutions
What You'll Bring
- Experience with modern web application development and JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts and security best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with databases, object-oriented programming, and source control tools
Work Location:
Hybrid - This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment. AMC ISS strives for a high-flex work environment, meaning although this role may predominately be executed effectively with a remote schedule, there may be instances where in-person meetings and/or activities are needed. There is no minimum or prescribed in-person requirement. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field + Substitution: 4 years of professional or high-level technical work experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. An associate's degree with two years of relevant work experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree
- 2 years' experience with web application development working with technologies such as ASP.NET, NodeJS, MVC, TypeScript, etc.
- 2 years' experience with databases, frameworks, and programming languages + DataSQL databases: MySQL, Oracle, or MSSQL Server + Frameworks: JavaScript UI Frameworks: Angular, Vue, or React + Programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, or C#
- 2-4 years professional web application development experience working with technologies such as ASP.NET, NodeJS, MVC, TypeScript, etc.
- 2-4 years of experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MSSQL Server
- 2 years of experience with any JavaScript UI Framework such as Angular, Vue, or React.
- 2-4 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or C#
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CICD Pipelines
- Experience with common source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML Authentication
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Oracle Identity Manager
- Experience with Spring Boot
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both with non-technical and technical audiences and stakeholder groups.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills working with non-technical users and stakeholders.
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks.
- Understanding of software development best practices and agile development processes
- Ability to communicate well, understand business needs and turn requirements into reality.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $85,000 - $95,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
