Offer Description
3. One employee to the associate position of Senior Assistant in the scientific field of Biotechnical Sciences, branch Agriculture, on a fixed-term full-time basis, at the Department of Cereals, Industrial and Forage Crops.
All applicants must satisfy the general requirements prescribed by the Croatian Labour Act (Official Gazette Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
Applicants for the position under item 3, in addition to meeting the general requirements prescribed by the Croatian Labour Act and the criteria set out in Article 39, paragraph 7 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/22), must also fulfil the criteria prescribed by Article 123, paragraph 5 of the Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 51, paragraph 5 of the Statute of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek (consolidated text), and Article 29 of the Regulations on the Procedure for Election/Re-election to Scientific-Teaching, Artistic-Teaching, Teaching, Associate and Professional Positions at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in the scientific field of Biotechnical Sciences, within the scientific discipline of Agriculture.

Applicants for positions under items 3 who are foreign nationals are required to provide proof of proficiency in the Croatian language at B1 level, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In the event of selection, a foreign national must obtain recognition of their foreign higher education qualification before entering into an employment relationship.
