Why your role matters

The Senior Business Enablement Analyst leads the design and optimisation of scalable digital solutions that extend CRM platforms and student systems. Using low-code platforms, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies, the role drives business process improvement, automation, and improved service delivery across student and staff-facing operations.

Working closely with business stakeholders and IT delivery partners, the role identifies opportunities to re-engineer processes and delivers sustainable, user-centred solutions aligned with institutional priorities. It translates operational needs into practical technical approaches that streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve responsiveness, while also supporting experimentation through prototypes and proof of concept initiatives.

The Senior Business Enablement Analyst mentors analysts and citizen developers, fostering a culture of enablement and continuous improvement. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight to ensure platforms are secure, effective, and sustainable. The position reports to the Manager, Student Systems (Core Connections) and has one direct report.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Continuously assess platform capabilities, new features, and emerging technologies to inform solution roadmaps and foster a culture of innovation. Apply expertise in Agile delivery, business process reengineering, CRM, and digital solution design—including low-code platforms (LCAP) and AI—to deliver improvements that enhance the student and staff experience.
  • Collaborate with IT, academic divisions, student services, vendors, and governance bodies to ensure cross-functional alignment, stakeholder buy-in, and user-centred design.
  • Translate complex business needs into practical solutions that emphasise scalability, reusability, automation, and alignment with business-led strategies.

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business systems, information technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), or equivalent enterprise technologies, with an emphasis on scalable, user-centric applications.
  • Proficiency in low-code and no-code development principles, with hands-on experience in system integrations (e.g. APIs, webhooks), and a solid understanding of solution governance, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an iterative, user-focused approach to digital solution design and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, accessible terms, and to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure user-centred design and adoption.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution testing, user support, and documentation, with a focus on usability, adoption, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success leading or mentoring others in a digital delivery environment, including capability uplift of junior staff or citizen developers, and contributing to a collaborative, high performing team culture.
  • Proven experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, with a focus on delivering incremental value and adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies, AI tools, and platform innovations.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the following may also be required:

  • Occasional work outside of standard business hours is required to complete performance verification testing for release, including upgrades.
  • Role may involve supervising external contractors, consultants, and fixed-term project staff.
