About This Opportunity

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst within Information Technology Services (ITS), you will support and strengthen UQ’s cyber security capabilities. Working within a collaborative and high-performing Cyber Security Operations Centre, you will help protect a diverse and complex digital ecosystem supporting world-class research, teaching, and enterprise systems. Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the detection, analysis, and response to cyber security incidents across the University environment
Providing expert advice and consultation on cyber security risks and controls to stakeholders across diverse business and technical teams
Designing and implementing operational security solutions, ensuring robust documentation and effective change coordination
Promoting cyber security awareness and best practice aligned with University policies and standards
