About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute as a Senior Educator to high-quality, industry-aligned vocational programs across certificate, diploma and associate degree levels, with 0.4 FTE of this role dedicated to direct teaching and assessment.
In this role, you’ll combine contemporary teaching practice with program coordination and quality assurance, working collaboratively with fellow educators to design engaging learning experiences and support positive student outcomes. You’ll deliver and assess learning, contribute to curriculum development, support and mentor teaching staff, and ensure programs meet compliance and continuous improvement expectations.
We’re particularly keen to hear from educators with a background in cyber security, networking, gaming/web development and/or artificial intelligence, who enjoy translating current industry practice into meaningful, applied learning for diverse learners.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating academic programs, providing support and supervision of teaching staff and ensuring program compliance requirements are met in alignment with University policy, SEE contract and ASQA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
- Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients
- Demonstrated ability to identify own learning needs and obtain support for professional development, particularly ensuring knowledge and use of digital technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high quality training and assessment materials.
Qualifications
- AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
- Relevant tertiary degree or vocational qualification including evidence of currency
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
