In 2024, King’s College London and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust partnered with the PD Hinduja Hospital and the Hinduja Foundation to create the Hinduja-King’s Health Partners Academy.
About The Role
The Senior Engagement Manager will manage all components of this complex project, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring progress, reporting on outcomes, and controlling budgets in line with contractual and philanthropic conditions. The Academy delivers clinical and non-clinical training, builds research capacity, and provides executive education for health professionals in India. A philanthropic donation supports health engineering research and clinical innovation through PhD and Masters scholarships for students from India in biomedical engineering.
This is a full-time opportunity for a proactive individual with experience in managing philanthropic and education projects across multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of academic programme structures and budget management is essential. This is a fixed-term contract for four years.
About You
Essential criteria
- Experience in operational management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, ideally in education and/or philanthropy.
- Ability to build partnerships with tact, diplomacy, and strong working relationships to drive effective outcomes.
- Hands-on relationship management in a multi-stakeholder environment, such as in Higher Education, NHS, or Civil Service, with responsiveness to demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Understanding of the UK and international healthcare landscape relevant to the partnership.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for generating insights from data, managing budgets, and applying contract management practices.
- Ability to develop and implement monitoring and reporting systems, resolve issues, and maintain risk registers.
- Experience with academic programme structures and university operations.
Desirable criteria
- Experience in international partnerships, especially in healthcare or education.
- Understanding and experience of working with India-based individuals and organisations.
- Ability to speak conversational Hindi (Marathi and Gujarati as advantages).
- Experience working with high net-worth individuals and their teams.
- Familiarity with stewardship planning and engagement.

Grade and Salary: £53,947 - £63,350 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
