Sheffield Hallam University has an ambitious and challenging people agenda and we are looking for a high-performing, future-focused Senior Advisor to join the Human Resources and Organisational Development Directorate as part of our Employee Relations team.

As well as being a dedicated and trusted expert in employee relations and the application of employment law and employment policies, you will help drive continuous improvement – using insight, data and fresh thinking, including digital tools to innovate our approach to supporting our staff community.

We’re looking for a confident and proactive Senior HROD Advisor to join our team for a 12‑month temporary appointment. You will demonstrate strong expertise in managing complex employee relations casework while proactively coaching and empowering managers to address performance, conduct and attendance issues confidently and independently.

You will be expected to develop effective working relationships across the wider team and Directorate, sharing best practice and knowledge, working together to promote a consistently high-quality service offer.
