About the Role
Are you passionate about driving technical excellence and supporting enterprise HR platforms? Flinders University is seeking a Senior IDS Platforms Analyst & Coordinator to join our dynamic Information and Digital Services (IDS) team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stable, reliable, and high-performing operation of key platforms and applications that support our People and Finance Success functions.
This position is also responsible for:
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and conduct impact analyses.
- Configuration, testing, and documenting new functionalities to support continuous platform development.
- Coordinating technical change, configuration, and release management processes.
- Collaboration across IDS teams to resolve issues and respond to customer queries.
- Providing expert advice to stakeholders and support adoption of new technologies.
- Ensuring compliance with university policies and manage risks effectively.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management capabilities.
- Experience with agile methodologies and matrix team structures.
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to support and maintain COTS and SaaS enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and change management practices.
- Experience in higher education (desirable).
- Experience in HR systems administration (desirable).
The ideal candidate will also hold appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant technical area, and / or equivalent relevant experience in an HR systems environment.
