Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager supports the College of AI, Cyber and Computing (CAICC) by managing daily operations and coordinating programs that advance both faculty success and graduate education. This position oversees scheduling, communications, and documentation for faculty reviews, recruitment, and development programs, as well as academic and professional initiatives serving CAICC's students and faculty. The manager ensures all processes run efficiently, align with university policies, and meet timelines for deliverables and reporting.
Core Responsibilities
- Supports the Associate Dean for Faculty Success, including coordinating and managing faculty-related operations including annual, third year, and periodic reviews, as well as promotion, tenure, and recruitment processes.
- Develops and manages scheduling, planning, and logistics for college-wide academic and faculty development programs, special events, and initiatives.
- Prepares and maintains program and faculty documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs, department chairs, and the Dean's Office on faculty and graduate program guidelines, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinates onboarding and development activities for faculty, and track participation in professional development, sabbaticals, and leaves.
- Handles confidential faculty records, maintaining a high level of discretion and data security.
- Supports the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, including interfacing with the Graduate School and other university units related to graduate studies and student success.
- Reviews student transcripts for compliance with graduate degree programs, supporting students in adhering to program requirements and negotiating exceptions as appropriate.
- Maintains databases and reporting systems for faculty and program data; generate summaries for academic leadership review.
- Facilitates communication among faculty, students, and administration in service of the college's graduate programs; serve as a primary contact for inquiries related to graduate program operations.
- Represents the College at meetings, information sessions, and conferences.
- May supervise staff or student employees supporting program and faculty operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Six (6) years of experience in programming or operations management, preferably in an academic environment.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in faculty affairs, program administration, or higher education operations.
- Experience with academic affairs software and databases (e.g., Digital Measures, PeopleAdmin).

- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of program management and faculty affairs processes.
- Tact, diplomacy, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events.
- Workdays, areas, and work hours may vary based on the needs of the department.

This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
