Senior Programmer/Analyst

The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. We are seeking 2 Senior Analyst/Programmer to join our Core Programming team, which handles a wide variety of full-stack full-lifecycle projects. You will be involved with and responsible for the analysis and design; negotiating with users and suppliers; implementing, maintaining and supporting our software. The team works on both Windows and linux, developing primarily in C++, Javascript and SQL. To be considered, you will have strong expertise in writing complete systems in C++ (or similar) and will have a good degree, a recognised computing qualification or equivalent experience. You will also have ability to work effectively as part of a small team and independently.
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) for 3 years. The closing date for applications is noon on 04th March 2026.
