Job Summary
Conduct research on Alzheimer's disease, neuropsychiatric disorders, and the microbiome using transgenic mouse models in Seo laboratory (https://sites.google.com/view/the-seo-laboratory.) Performs drug treatment and behavioral test to mice. Develops hypotheses... Perform stereotactic surgery. Perform a variety of complex chemical... Managing transgenic mouse colony... Contribute to manuscript and grant preparation...

- Conduct research on Alzheimer's disease...
- Perform a variety of complex chemical...
- Prepares and submits papers on research...
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in research, basic science or a clinical setting particularly clinical trials research and minimum of two years of applicable experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills.
ABILITIES
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday
Pay Band: B6
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
Recruitment Period: Until Filled.
