Fixed Term Contract Full Time 1.0 FTE 36.5 hpw

There is sufficient funding to recruit a Senior Research Technician on Grade 5 for up to max of 13 months, restricted to end by 31/05/2027

An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior Research Technician to join the research group of Dr Emily Lane-Hill within the Neuroscience Cluster in the School of Life Sciences. The post is for 13-months, full time and is available for an immediate start.

The project, funded by Race Against Dementia, aims to determine the molecular mechanisms that underlie tau-induced neuronal and network dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases.

You will utilise a combination of molecular biology and imaging-based techniques to characterise interactions between tau protein and targets such as voltage-gated ion channels. There may also be opportunities to develop further skills in electrophysiology and in vivo work throughout the project.

As a research group we value collegiality and curiosity and we are committed to creating a warm and inclusive working environment, allowing individuals to develop their skills and interests in neuroscience research.

Informal enquires are encouraged and can be sent directly to Dr Emily Lane-Hill (e.hill.4@warwick.ac.uk).
