The Opportunity

The Senior SEND Case Worker is responsible for coordinating and delivering targeted support for our incoming students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), which includes those with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP’s). The Senior SEND Case Worker will liaise with students, families, staff, and external professionals to promote inclusive practices, lead on complex case management and EHCP processes. You will ensure that every student receives the tailored support they need to achieve their academic and personal potential.

About you

To excel in this role, a strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHCP processes in an FE environment, including SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act. You will have demonstrable experience of case management and multi-agency collaboration, as well as being highly organised with excellent communication skills. You will also have proven ability in providing guidance to staff and building positive relationships with parents and stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for learners.
