Senior Services Specialist I&A
Make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities as a Senior Services Specialist in Lewiston. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted resource - helping individuals and families navigate available services and make informed decisions that support independence and well-being.
You’ll respond to calls and inquiries, providing clear, impartial information about community resources and programs. Using established screening tools, you’ll assess eligibility and authorize services such as home-delivered meals, homemaker support, and caregiver respite. You’ll guide individuals through program orientation, connect them with appropriate services, and maintain accurate records of all interactions in a statewide database. Your work will also include maintaining up-to-date resource information, advocating for clients, and supporting outreach efforts to educate the community about available services and protections.
We’re looking for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You'll bring strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to listen, assess needs, and provide thoughtful guidance. A successful candidate will be comfortable managing a high volume of calls, entering and tracking data, and maintaining detailed, accurate documentation. Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to helping others will set you apart.
If you’re passionate about connecting people to the resources they need, we encourage you to apply.
