• Join in the creation of a New Ventures Team to lead the university’s record-breaking translation of research into impact.
• Grow your success in creating and supporting startups, spinouts and managing an equity portfolio
• The University of New South Wales is Australia's number one University for Entrepreneurship.
• Every year the University sees 400 startups and projects get their ventures of the ground.
• Works closely with UNSW Founders and Faculties to enhance an entrepreneurial culture and expertise in the academic and researcher community at UNSW.

We are seeking

• Proven ability to execute on all aspects of spinouts and startups at both strategic and operational levels.
• New venture building background at scale e.g. from an incubator or venture build firm.
• Direct experience of working with or in research-based spinouts or startups and, ideally, portfolio management.
• Experience in go to market strategies, structures and various types of strategic early-stage commercial deals.
• Existing networks with local and international investors, fund managers, including early stage, angel and venture investors.
