Special Services Coordinator
To provide a range of high-volume photocopying, printing, and mail service functions for the Tuck community, in a fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a customer service focus.
Required Qualifications: High School or equivalency; One year of relevant experience in a fast-paced setting; Familiarity with high-volume copier equipment; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; Excellent attention to detail; Ability to work with minimum supervision; Ability to work independently and as a team member; Good judgment and ability to make quick decisions; Ability to stay on task with numerous interruptions; Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and establish priorities to meet deadlines; Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office and Adobe) and office skills; Ability to lift, carry, hold, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs; Ability to stand for a total of 4-6 hours/day; Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
Preferred Qualifications: Mail and package processing experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Photocopy/Print Services: Uses a web-based system to manage and track service requests; Performs printing services, including photocopying, scanning, collating, poster-making, and binding; Operates photocopiers; Determines appropriate specifications; Works closely with support staff, administrators, and faculty; Coordinates the printing of confidential materials.
- Mail Services: Sorts and distributes daily incoming mail and packages; Ensures confidential items are retrieved timely; Maintains mail rooms; Keeps informed of mailing procedures; Records and monitors package receipt; Collects address information for mail forwarding; Assists in preparation of large mailings.
- Miscellaneous: Provides comprehensive customer service; Maintains inventory of office supplies; Assists with administrative tasks; Troubleshoots photocopiers; Participates in new hire orientations.
