Educational and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with two years of relevant specialist experience or experience in a related area. Experience in higher education and specialized work is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities may also be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position: Performs highly advanced specialist duties for the Parking and Transportation Office.
Primary Responsibilities: Prepares statistical reports based on collected parking data and analyzes this data to provide parking management recommendations. Reviews all parking data across various systems, including T2, Parkmobile, Parkeon, and Ellucian Banner. Generates reports and shares them with parking staff to identify trends. Assists in identifying unregistered vehicles through available software integrations and investigation. Aids in the creation and maintenance of all permit series, updates parking zones, and defines access permissions, ensuring all systems and garages function correctly. Contributes to making recommendations and conducting research. Supports customer communication through phone and email. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications: Requires in-depth knowledge of university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. A strong understanding of office systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, is essential. The ability to solve operational issues and propose process improvements is necessary. Accuracy in business mathematics is also required.
