Job Summary:

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed speech-language pathology treatment programs in applicable care setting.

Job Description:

  • Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
  • Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
  • Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population.
  • Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
  • Educate patients and their families about speech­related conditions, causes, and contributing factors such as disabilities or traumatic events.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, care plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Communicate progress and current status to relevant parties, including family members, teachers, and medical professionals.

Education Qualifications:

Master's: Speech Pathology (Required)

Experience:

Relevant experience | 3 Years | Not Required

Compensation:

$68,681.60 - $103,001.60
