Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Athletics department on the Dahlonega campus. The FWS student will be tasked with assisting sports medicine staff with daily operational tasks within the athletic training facility, to include restocking of items, assisting with laundry and basic sanitization practices and infection control throughout the facility. Additionally will be asked to digitize paper files, print documents and assist with various aspects of medical documentation. On occasion, may be asked to assist with set up/tear down of rehabilitation items and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Student will be tasked with restocking and inventory of items, assisting with laundry and basic sanitization practices and infection control throughout the facility.
  • Additionally, will be asked to digitize paper files, print documents and assist with various aspects of medical documentation.
  • On occasion, may be asked to assist with set up/tear down of rehabilitation items and equipment as well as other tasks associated with maintaining the items and equipment within the facility.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Basic knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft office products, primarily Word and Excel as well as email.
  • Strong, proactive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistently exhibit a professional approach to work responsibilities and duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
