Staff Associate I
Columbia University’s Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology is inviting applicants for a Staff Associate I position in one of our research units. Successful candidates will carry out assigned duties in the design of apparatus, the adaptation of relevant technology to the needs of a project, the conduct of specific experiments, and the analysis of data. They may also be responsible for collecting data and providing services to its clients. The Staff Associate I will work under limited supervision on complex assignments that require them to exercise a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Candidates should be able to comprehend and implement experimental procedures and take corrective action when problems occur, in consultation with the director and postdocs. This position offers unique opportunities for professional and scientific growth and will be filled based on qualifications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience preferred.
