"Strategy and Network Manager for Women's HealthTech Innovation Network (WHIN)"

Are you passionate about improving women’s health in South Yorkshire? We are looking for a proactive individual with experience of academic research who can help us develop the strategy for our new Women’s HealthTech Innovation Network (WHIN). The Network, co-chaired by Vanessa Hearnden (Engineering), Becky Mawson (GP and clinical research fellow) and Emma Lucas (Health) is looking for someone who understands the research funding landscape and who can engage with diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities in women’s HealthTech innovation. By the end of July 2026, we hope to have established the priorities of the network, have developed a strategy to set WHIN apart from others and have launched a WHIN website to communicate externally and facilitate collaboration. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

This role, funded by the “Higher Education Innovation Fund”, will be an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain more experience of knowledge exchange and working with external stakeholders.
