Maintain accurate student financial account records within College systems.Process student account transactions, including payments, adjustments, refunds, and other account-related activities.Research and resolve student account discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.Respond to inquiries regarding tuition, fees, payment plans, account balances, and related policies and procedures.Assist with collections and accounts receivable functions, including monitoring delinquent accounts and supporting collection efforts.Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, correspondence, and documentation.Reconcile account information and ensure compliance with College policies and applicable regulations.Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, Registrar, and other departments to support student success and institutional operations.Assist with annual audits and other financial review activities as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned to support Business Office operations.Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience providing customer service in an office, business, financial, educational, or administrative environment.
- Demonstrated experience using computerized systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Considerations- Experience working in a higher education, student accounts, bursar, finance, or business office environment.
- Experience with student information systems (SIS}, accounts receivable, or billing systems.
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations.
- Experience handling collections, receivables, or account reconciliation processes.
- Ability to perform detailed recordkeeping and data entry functions.
