QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements: To apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).

Experience Requirements: The successful candidate must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the department.

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on the student’s availability Must have some availability to work during the following hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00-7:00 pm, Friday: 8:00-4:30 pm. and two Saturday mornings during final registration week.

Total Hours: 20 per week.

General Function:

  • Provide general assistance as determined by the department.

ABOUT THE TEAM

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties of Position:

  • Provides high quality customer service: Greets visitors, answers telephone calls, and provides accurate information as appropriate.
  • Schedules and maintains appointments in scheduling software to facilitate 24/7 access to advising and orientation appointments in the student portal.
  • Delivers individual and group orientation presentations.
  • Guides students on campus tours and My Harper portal tours.
  • Assists with call campaigns.
