About This Opportunity

We are seeking four Student and Academic Administration Officers to join the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences.

These roles deliver high-quality customer service by providing friendly, accurate and informative advice and support to students, and to professional and academic staff. The positions are responsible for a broad range of administrative processing activities, day-to-day problem resolution, and the effective maintenance of administrative systems, contributing to a collaborative and service-focused Faculty environment.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Provide timely, accurate and compliant advice and support to students, staff and stakeholders in accordance with University policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Deliver end-to-end student and academic administration services, including applications, enrolments, progression, course administration, timetabling, grades, and system updates.
  • Maintain, review and improve administrative systems, data accuracy and processes, contributing to continuous improvement in workflow efficiency and service delivery.
  • Support Faculty operations and engagement through reporting, committee support, front-line service delivery, and participation in outreach and University events.

About You:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
  • Proven ability to prioritise work, exercise initiative and judgment, and meet deadlines while working independently and autonomously.
  • High level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team and across organisational units.
  • A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to provide high-quality support in a complex environment.
  • Experience in a tertiary education institution or large organisation, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and student administration or CRM systems (highly regarded).

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, criminal history checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
