Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Campus Recreation & Wellness department on the Gainesville campus. Peer Health Educators will provide insights and strategies to help shape well-being messaging, help develop content for social media accounts, and plan events to support well-being initiatives. This position will work as part of the Peer Educator Network, operating out of Campus Recreation and Wellness, to plan, promote, and implement educational events and activities on various health issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain 10 assigned hours per week
- Plan, promote, and implement educational events and activities on various health issues, including supporting the Live Well UNG initiative.
- Maintain organized calendar of upcoming presentations and events.
- Make sure that all events and presentations are properly planned and approved by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
