- Remuneration: $111,341 to $120,557 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $94,084 to $101,872 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Student Programs Officer to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering.
The Student Programs Officer plays a key role in coordinating and delivering the Faculty of Engineering’s Indigenous Australian, Women in Engineering & Construction and Real Leader Programs, industry sponsored scholarships, internships, and alumni and international engagement activities. Working closely with industry partners, students and alumni, the role supports Faculty priorities by connecting students with meaningful opportunities and ensuring programs are delivered effectively, consistently and in alignment with the Faculty’s strategic plan. The position serves as a primary point of contact for multiple programs and stakeholders, requiring strong coordination, communication and relationship management skills. The Student Programs Officer is responsible for end to end program administration, including monitoring student engagement and progression, coordinating sponsorship and partnership engagement, preparing reports and recommendations, and promoting program outcomes to internal and external clients. The role requires the ability to work proactively across teams, apply University policies and processes with discretion and care, and support student wellbeing and success. Flexibility to work outside standard business hours is required at times to meet program and event needs.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating engagement strategies that target relevant audiences, including a strong call to action.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of client service.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders and an understanding of relationship management and engagement, as it relates to working in partnership with key providers.
- Demonstrated high level written skills in developing proposals and plans.
- Proven ability to develop, monitor and work within budget.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
